Silent Hill f: This evening, a new game titled Silent Hill f was released as part of the Silent Hill: Transmission stream. This is the series’ first new mainline game in more than a decade.

About this particular entry of the Silent-Hill franchise, there are still very few details available. We do know that Ryukishi07, the author of the When They Cry visual novel series, wrote the scenario, that Kera designed the characters and creatures, and that Motoi Okamoto, whose name you might recognise from Nintendo, is the producer.
Neobards Entertainment, a support studio for Capcom on several of its Resident Evil games, including Re:Verse, is in responsibility of game development.
In the trailer for Silent-Hill F, a young girl is shown in what appears to be rural Japan. She gradually succumbs to flowers as the trailer goes on, and then her face starts to peel off.
Several more announcements were made this evening in addition to the introduction of this new game.
With the announcement of Silent-Hill: Townfall, a new game being created by No Code with Annapurna Interactive serving as publisher, we finally received confirmation that a remake of Silent Hill 2 is in the works.
Finally, information about the planned Return to Silent-Hill movie was presented.
Release Date
No date has been set for the release of Silent-Hill F yet. In October 2022, the game’s Silent-Hill Transmission came to an end, and it simply included a brief CGI teaser video. As a result, it is obvious that this project is the one that is the furthest away, thus you shouldn’t plan on seeing it until the middle of the decade or later.
We can only speculate on that, and because the game is the project that is the furthest away, it is likely that we will have to wait a while before learning anything.
Silent Hill f Story
Silent-Hill F’s story and setting are very light as we have only seen a brief teaser trailer, although it is set in 1960s Japan.
However, as was already reported, the game will introduce a Japanese touch to the series, and the details match information that had previously been leaked about a project with the codename Sakura.
Even in the trailer, which has a heavy focus on flowers and flower-themed body horror, we can see some of that Japanese influence.
