Sheezan Khan, a jailed television actor, was accused of murdering his co-star, but his lawyer argued that their breakup was not the cause of the latter’s reported suicide and claimed that his client was being singled out because of his religion. Sheezan, who is now being held in Thane Central Jail under judicial custody, filed a bail motion with a Palghar district court, according to his attorney.

During the press briefing, it was questioned whether Tunisha and Sheezan had broken up before to her passing. Sheezan Khan (28) and Tunisha, who both appeared in the Hindi television series “Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul,” were discovered hanged on December 24 on the set of the show at Vasai in the neighbouring Palghar district. Khan is currently being held in a jail under judicial custody after being charged with aiding in her suicide and being arrested the following day.
Vanita Sharma, the mother of Tunisha Sharma, claimed last week that her daughter’s death might have been the result of murder and that Khan and his family were attempting to convert Tunisha to Islam. She further asserted that Tunisha Sharma had looked through Khan’s phone after she just ended her engagement with him and discovered WhatsApp conversations he had with another woman.
According to Vanita Sharma, when Tunisha Sharma questioned Khan about the talks, he allegedly smacked her and told her she was “free to do whatever she wanted.” Falaq Naaz, the sister of Khan, denied the accusations on Monday and claimed that because Tunisha Sharma was “like their family member,” they could never see her in misery.

The mother of the accused actor questioned, “Why had Vanita Sharma not reported to us or slapped Sheezan,” in response to the claim that Khan had once smacked Tunisha Sharma while the series was being filmed.
Falaq Naaz added, “We want justice for Tunisha as well, but her mother is trying to wrongfully blame Sheezan in the case, and it is not right.
Regarding the claim that Tunisha Sharma was coerced into visiting a dargah and donning a headscarf, she responded, “We never asked her to do anything.” The divorce between the two stars, according to Khan’s attorney Mishra, was not the cause of Tunisha Sharma’s passing. “I’m saying something really responsible.
