Arshad Sharif, a well-known journalist, and TV host, reportedly passed away in Kenya, according to journalists on social media.

While his former employer ARY News reported that he passed away in an accident, local police are investigating inquiries.
Along with shock over his reported death from the media and the public, there are also claims of murder and foul play in the journalist’s death.
Sharif had recently become increasingly vocal and critical of the ongoing political changes in Pakistan.
In the early hours of Monday morning, TV journalist Meher Bokhari tweeted, “Arshad Sharif, not only a colleague, a brother, is no more. I haven’t met a finer man from Islamabad to Moscow, from Dunya News to ARY.
Killer shot. too little. Brutally enough “Still can’t wrap my brain around it,” she added.
After Sharif’s wife tweeted, Daily Jang altered its initial report from “accident” to “murder.”
The same was reported and tweeted by other media sources. His death‘s specifics are still unknown. PTI leader Shireen Mazarin, however, said in a tweet that he had been murdered by a sniper.
When Sharif’s death was announced, tributes also came in from his colleagues and friends.
On Twitter, Kamran Khan criticized the administration and asked Shehbaz Sharif to “take the nation in confidence”:
